This Athlete Wellness Retreat hosted by Alexis Harris, our mental performance consultant, is a 2-day wellness experience designed for attendees to reconnect with self and others as they discover their identity beyond the realm of sport.
Attendees will leave equipped with tools and insights necessary to cultivate self awareness through mindfulness. During this combined retreat experience, attendees will embark on a transformative experience, gaining valuable skills that extend far beyond the confines of the playing field. Participating athletes will be equipped with the mental tools and strategies necessary to excel under pressure, overcome obstacles, and maximize their athletic potential.

Day 1: Mind, Body, and Spirit: The Journey to Mindfulness
Athletes will learn and apply various mindful techniques in order to deconstruct irrational thoughts. Activities such as reflection exercises, guided meditation, journal discussions, and yoga will take place as participants gain knowledge on how to be aware and observe their own internal responses.
Day 2: The Athlete in Me: Identity Outside of Sport
Athletes will discuss and reflect on their personal character and personality as they embark on a self-reflection to identify themselves outside of their sport. Topics such as self-image, self-esteem, and self-awareness will take place as participants re-align themselves with a holistic view of self.
